Learning Training

Thousands of parents struggle with thoughts of their child falling behind in school and some even wonder if the child will ever be able to handle daily life successfully as an adult. Is the struggle your child faces due to a label or challenges with daily responsibilities, academics, behavior or uncharacteristic emotions?

As fellow parents, we understand your concern for your child’s future. If your child needs help with daily responsibilities, academics, social skills, behaviors, and emotions, look no further than Brain Sprint’s Learning Challenges NeuroDevelopmental Training Approach. It is a revolutionary way of eliminating the root causes of symptoms of learning challenges and learning disabilities instead of simply coping with it.

Brain Sprints utilizes the NeuroDevelopmental Approach with brain stimulating activities for children with learning challenges.

Instead of helping your children cope or compensate for the challenges brought on by these struggles, we target the root causes and create an individualized brain training program to greatly minimize or eliminate them. Our brain training services for learning challenges are available in our Brain Sprints Center located in Denton, Texas. Also, these same learning challenges training services can be implemented at home anywhere in the United State by a certified Brain Coach or in any country with high speed internet through our training site for parents.

A Brief Overview of Learning Challenges

A child may be born with a healthy physical appearance and seemingly normal social cues. However, the natural design of humans, particularly brain functioning, continues to develop through the years. Parents often sense there is something not quite right but may not be able to identify it without the help of other professionals. Learning challenges are fairly common among children. It falls to parents to find the specific help that the particular child needs.

If unchecked and poorly addressed, children with learning challenges could eventually disregard education altogether and make poor choices when they become adults. The sad reality is that many adults who end up in prison, poverty, or a darker future were once kids who had the opportunity to learn and grow in school, but were unable to overcome learning challenges beyond their control. Failure to deal with and overcome learning challenges could lead to a negative ripple effect in your child’s future.

Why Brain Sprints?

Brain Sprints takes pride in the 25+ years we have spent developing, and consistently innovating the NeuroDevelopmental Approach for training children with learning difficulties and disabilities. We are one of the very few companies in Texas to offer this type of customized service. We stand out even more because of our high level of dedication to help every child, regardless of their disability and struggles. That is why families come from all over the United States to receive services. The unique nature of Brain Sprints’ application of the NeuroDevelopmental Approach is that we take into consideration the whole child through the areas of sensory input (auditory, visual and tactile) and motor output (gross motor, fine motor and language). The child is evaluated in these 6 areas and tracked through 9 levels of development. An individualized brain training program is then crafted from our 1,000+ activity database. Instead of focusing on labels and limiting your child’s potential based on what a learning challenge dictates, we look at your child as an individual who has boundless potentials and untapped skills and talents. It is our job to help you and your child discover this way to a brighter future.

Our Brain Training Services for Learning Challenges Include:

In-Home Training – After an in-person or video evaluation is conducted, an individualized NeuroDevelopmental plan is created. The details of implementing the plan are taught to the parents via a web-training site. Parents across the United States, or someone they choose, facilitates the activities five days a week with the child while unparalleled support is given through email, phone and bi-monthly teleconferencing. In some area of the DFW area, Brain Sprints trained Brain Coaches can be provided to implement the program for the parents.

On-Site Training for Learning Challenges – Brain Sprints NeuroDevelopmental Brain Training is now available in the Dallas-Fort Worth area! At our Brain Sprints Center in Denton, Texas, trained Brain Coaches are available to work with your child on their individualized plan. This can either be accomplished through 1-1 session or in small groups.

Our Success Stories

“When I was asked to use one word to describe our experience with Little Giant Steps, I said, “far-reaching”. Learning of Ashton’s God-given left handedness is surely the most positive result of being on the Little Giant Steps program. We would never have discovered that he was really left-handed ourselves. Using his left hand, along with left eye and left ear dominance will be a great leap in getting him on to better functioning in all areas of his life. Also, far reaching is the effect of neurodevelopmental principles and concepts on other members of our family and our home education. Occluding eye and ear became normal for several of us. My reading comprehension, actually listening comprehension with audio books, has vastly improved. We also see improvement with a younger son showing dyslexic symptoms and struggling to read. We’ll be forever grateful for Little Giant Steps methods and activities as we continue to use them in the education of us all.” On LGS program from February, 2009 to January, 2011

“After just one month in LGS, our son Josh has made some amazing progress. Several days ago, he wrote his name for the first time with all the letters facing the correct way. This may sound like a small, even trivial thing for most children, but not for Josh. He is nine and this is a giant step! He has also started reading in the First Steps reader. After using the First Steps CD for 2 weeks, he was able to read two chapters quickly and confidently. The look on his face was worth a million dollars! We love LGS. Even though we have only been in it for a short time (4 weeks), I can already tell a difference in Josh.
