Little Bit About the Founder
Our premier training programs are the brainchild of renowned the neurodevelopmentalist and Brain Sprints founder, Dr. Jan Bedell. A passionate educator and parent herself, her commitment is geared towards developing learning strategies that help children overcome neurological impairments, including autism, ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and many more.
Her career in neurodevelopmental education started in 1995 when Dr. Jan started to explore ways on how to help her own child beat learning issues. In 2004, she earned the status of Master Neurodevelopmentalist from the International Association of Neurodevelopmental Education. Adding to her achievement as an educator, she completed her master’s degree in Special Education from Texas Tech University in 2008 and a Doctorate in Education from Magister University in 2014. Leveraging her experience in special education and advanced knowledge and skills in the neurodevelopmental approach, Dr. Jan successfully merges fun with tried-and-tested brain training exercises.
The cognitive skills training courses created by Dr. Jan and the rest of Brain Sprints staff feature stimulating and engaging mental activities that help children reach their full potential. We work collaboratively with parents to turn weaknesses into strengths. Our customized, one-on-one training services motivate children to overcome barriers that stunt their cognitive development.
